The
default
speed
command sets the speed of the port to the factory default
speed. The syntax for the
default
speed
command is:
default speed [port
<
portlist>]
The
default
speed
command is in the config-if command mode.

Description
port <portlist>
Specifies the port numbers to configure the speed. Enter the port
numbers you want to configure.
Note:
If you omit this parameter, the system uses the port number
you specified in the
interface
command.
10|100|1000|auto
Sets speed to:
•
10—10 Mb/s
•
100—100 Mb/s
•
1000—1000 Mb/s or 1 GB/s
•
auto—autonegotiation
Note:
When you set the port speed for autonegotiation, ensure that the
other side of the link is also set for autonegotiation.
