Multimedia Conference Bridge
Simple Mode
When configured as an 8-port ETU the following conferences are available:
One 8-party conference
Two 4-party conferences (default)
When configured as a 16-port ETU the following conferences and conditions are available:
One 16-party conference
Two 8-party conferences (default)
Three conferences (one 6-party and two 5-party)
Four 4-party conferences
Password protection for each conference
Applicable voice messages and announcements (
e.g
., Entry, password request, exit)
Advanced Mode
Password protection is provided for each conference.
Applicable voice messages and announcements (
e.g
., Entry, password request, exit) are available.
E-mail notification, when enabled, requires the organizer to enter the E-mail address of each
participant to be sent notification of a pending conference. This option is selectable when setting
up new conferences.
Host Required, when enabled, requires the host/organizer to be logged into the conference before
any other participant can enter. This option is selectable when setting up new conferences.
Admission Control, when enabled, requires the organizer to dial a digit allowing each participant to
enter the conference. This option is selectable when setting up new conferences (FUTURE).
One customer greeting can be recorded for each CNF(16)-U20 ETU. Predefined password is
necessary to record personal greetings.
Conditions
Each CNF(16)-U20 ETU reduces the total number of station ports available in the Electra
Elite IPK II system by eight or 16 depending on the assignment in Program 10-03-01 Unit
Configuration.
The CNF(16)-U20 ETU uses Digital Voice Mail (DVM) ports assigned in Program 10-03-01
Unit Configuration.
The CNF(16)-U20 ETU shares the total number of available DVM ports with Voice Mail,
Elite ACD Plus, CTI, and Elite Q-Master.
