The following table can help you decide what components you need to use in your Flash
data application.
Flash is a client-side technology. To create a Flash application that integrates with a data
source, you will need to implement server-side code as well. Building and exposing business
logic on the server is the job of a server developer and is best implemented using products that
are specifically designed for that task, such as ColdFusion, J2EE Application Servers, and
ASP.NET. For information on server-side tasks and other tasks that might best be addressed
