Windows Network Connections

In Windows XP you can view and renew an IP address using Windows Network Connections.

Open Network Connections from

Start

→

Control Panel

→

Network Connections

Right-click a network connection.

Click

Status

Click the

Support

tab. Your connection status information displays.

Click the

Details

button to display the Physical Address, IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway,

DHCP Server, Lease Obtained, Lease Expires, and DNS Server addresses.
