shows how the suffix is calculated for a certain data set.
The raw data of the harmonics is always available up to the highest selected harmonic,
even if the checkmark for the harmonic is not set. The data buffers of the harmonics
that are larger than the highest selected harmonic are empty.
Example: If d7 is selected as the only harmonic, the raw data of d2, d3, d4, d5 and d6
will still be available. The data buffers for d8 and d9 are empty and, when queried,
return the NaN value "3.38".
Example for reading in trace data:
The trace data is addressed with the suffix 1 to 9. On Trace A (green) in Sweep Graph
3, "Level THD" is represented by the harmonics 3, 5 and 7.
The buffer that contains the trace data for "Level THD" is addressed with the suffix 6,
as shown in the table below. The values are available in the basic unit V or FS.
Example for reading in raw data based on example above:
The raw data is addressed with the suffix 10 to 89. In this example, it is assumed that
measurement was performed on the channel Ch2.
The suffix for the raw data of the harmonics is calculated from the channel number and
the number of the harmonics.
Raw data for Freq. Response: <i> = (Channel number 1 to 8) * 10
Raw data for Phase Response : <i> = (Channel number 1 to 8) * 10 + 1
Raw data for harmonics: <i> = (Channel number 1 to 8) * 10 + (No. of harm. 2 to 9)
The suffixes of harmonics 3, 5 and 7 that were measured on channel 2 are therefore
required: According to the formula "Raw data of harmonics", this results in the suffixes
23, 25 and 27. If the raw data of the harmonics not selected (i.e. 2, 4 and 6) is also to
be read in, this results in the suffixes 22, 24 and 26. Raw data for the harmonics 8 and
9 is not available. The query with the suffixes 28 and 29 would each return the NaN
value "3.38" as the query response.
