Configuring the
TR3160

™

The TR3160 Motion Transducer is used to measure linear or, with the
optional TR3165 Rotary Adapter, rotary motion. The setup for both is
described below.

There are two configurations of the TR3160, which differ only in the
design of the Rotary Adapter mechanism.

• The TR3160 model has the Rotary Adapter shown in Figure 4.9

and is configured using the following procedures.

• The TR3160LR has the Chuck Holder Plate described in

”Configuring the TR3190™” on page 4-16 and is configured
using TR3190 procedures.

The TR3160LR configuration is also indicated in the serial
number on the side of the transducer.
