Running the Test

The steps in this section list the procedures for running the test. These
are:

• Removing Safety Grounds
• Running Self Diagnostics (Optional)
• Running the Continuity Test (Recommended)
• Performing the Pretest Checklist
• Running a Test
• Saving Test Results

Step 1: Removing Safety Grounds

Figure 1.14 shows a breaker with the safety grounds removed from one
side of the circuit breaker in preparation for the test.
