FUEL MIXTURE
Damper valve: Removal - Refitting
M9R, and 742 or 744 or 746 or 748 or 754

- the damper valve strut bolts on the intake distribu-
tor.
a
Tighten:
- the damper valve strut bolts on the damper valve,
- the damper valve strut bolts on the intake distribu-
tor.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a
Refit the new intercooler air outlet pipe.
a
Clip the intercooler air outlet pipe onto the intercool-
er.
a
Push the intercooler air outlet pipe clip.
a
Refit the intercooler air outlet pipe on the damper
valve.
a
Torque tighten the intercooler air outlet pipe clip
on the damper valve side (5.5 N.m) .
a
Fit the turbocharging pressure sensor.
a
Refit the turbocharging pressure sensor nut.
a
Tighten the turbocharger pressure sensor nut.
a
Connect the turbocharger pressure sensor connec-
tor.
a
Refit:
- the engine cover,
- the engine undertray,
- the engine undertray bolts.
a
Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool ,
- select « Injection computer » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « damper valve » in the « list of components
controlled by this computer » section,
- carry out the operations described in the « after re-
pair procedure » section.
Note:
Check that the pipe is correctly clipped on.
