DIESEL INJECTION
Injector rail: Removal - Refitting

Refit the nut for the rigid cooling pipe on the turbo-
charger.
a
Torque tighten the turbocharger heat shield nuts
(8 N.m) .
a
Connect the cooling hose to the turbocharger rigid
cooling pipe.
a
Fit the turbocharger cooling hose clip using the tool
(Mot. 1448) .
a
Refit:
- the exhaust gas recirculation rigid pipe (see 14A ,
Antipollution , Exhaust gas recirculation rigid
pipe: Removal - Refitting , page 14A-62 ) ,
a
Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A , Cool-
ing , Cooling system: Draining - Refilling , page
19A-16 ) .
a
Refit:
- the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting ) (55A, Exterior protection),
- the front wheel arch liners (see Front wheel arch
liner: Removal - Refitting ) (55A, Exterior protec-
tion),
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting )
(35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the engine undertray.

Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting ) (80A, Battery).
a
Prime the diesel circuit using the manual priming
pump.
a
Switch on after ignition.
a
Connect the Diagnostic tool .
a
In the Diagnostic tool :
- select the repair mode,
- select the programming mode,
- select the command SC 035: HIGH PRESSURE
FUEL CIRCUIT FAULT FINDING .
a
Check:
- the correct operation of the high pressure fuel cir-
cuit,
- that there are no leaks.
a
Refit the engine cover.
