ANTIPOLLUTION
Exhaust gas recirculation assembly: Removal - Refitting

a
Refit:
- the exhaust gas intercooler cooling system cover
hose clips using the (Mot. 1448) ,
- the new exhaust gas recirculation rigid pipe (see
14A , Antipollution , Exhaust gas recirculation
rigid pipe: Removal - Refitting , page 14A-62 ) ,
- the catalytic converter (see 19B , Exhaust , Cata-
lytic converter: Removal - Refitting , page 19B-
32 ) ,
- the engine undertray,
- the engine undertray bolts,
- the air inlet metal tube,
- the timing end lifting eye,
- the « timing end lifting eye - air inlet metal tube »
assembly bolts.

Tighten the « timing end lifting eye - air inlet metal
tube » assembly bolts.
a
Refit the rail protector bracket bolts.
a
Tighten the rail protector bracket bolts.
a
Refit the damper valve (see 12A , Fuel mixture ,
Damper valve: Removal - Refitting , page 12A-39 )
.
a
Connect the exhaust gas recirculation solenoid
valve connector.
a
Fit:
- the intercooler air inlet pipe,
- the intercooler inlet air pipe clip in its original posi-
tion.
a
Clip the intercooler air inlet pipe to the turbocharger.
a
Refit:
- the nut to the intercooler inlet air pipe,
- the intercooler air inlet hose bolt.
a
Tighten:
- the nut to the intercooler inlet air pipe,
- the intercooler air inlet hose bolt.
a
Refit the oil vapour rebreathing pipe.
a
Connect the oil vapour rebreathing pipe:
- to the oil vapour rebreathing valve,
- on the air filter box outlet air pipe.
a
Refit the engine cover.
a
Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting ) (MR 415, 80A, Battery).
a
Bleed the cooling system (see 19A , Cooling , Cool-
ing system: Draining - Refilling , page 19A-16 ) .
