Remove the engine from the component support

Couple the gearbox to the engine (see Automatic

Remove the lifting eye on the timing end (see 11A ,
Top and front of engine , Lifting eyes: Removal -
Refitting , page 11A-318 ) .

Refit:
- the « engine and gearbox » assembly (see 10A ,
Engine and cylinder block assembly , Engine -
gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting , page
10A-1 ) ,
- the left-hand suspended engine mounting rubber
pad central nut,
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D , Engine mounting , Right-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting , page
19D-51 ) .

Torque tighten the central nut of the left-hand sus-
pended engine mounting rubber pad (62 N.m) .
a
Remove the (Mot. 1390) from the « engine -
gearbox » assembly.

Refit:
- the front and rear catalytic pre-converters (see

ting
) and (see Rear catalytic pre-converter: Re-

- the front row upstream oxygen sensor (see 17B ,
