ENGINE MOUNTING
Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting

a
Remove:
- the bolts ( 3 ) of the lower engine tie-bar mounting
from the cylinder block on the timing end,
- the lower engine tie-bar mounting on the timing
end.
a
Remove:
- the bolts ( 4 ) of the engine tie-bar rubber pad on the
subframe at the timing end,
- the engine tie-bar rubber pad on the subframe at
the timing end.
REFITTING THE LOWER ENGINE TIE-BAR
ON THE TIMING END
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a
Refit:
- the engine tie-bar rubber pad on the subframe at
the timing end,
- the lower engine tie-bar mounting on the cylinder
block at the timing end.
a
Torque tighten the bolts of the lower engine tie-
bar mounting on the cylinder block at the timing
end (62 N.m)
.
a
Refit:
- the lower engine tie-bar on the timing end,
- the lower engine tie-bar on the gearbox side.
a
Tighten to torque:
- the lower engine tie-bar bolts at the timing end
(180 N.m) ,
- the lower engine tie-bar bolts on the gearbox
side (105 N.m) .
II - FINAL OPERATION
a
Refit the engine undertray.
