TOP AND FRONT OF ENGINE
Rocker cover: Removal - Refitting

II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a
Refit the rocker cover.
a
Tighten to torque and in order:
- rocker cover bolts 1 to 13, 16 to 20, 23 to 24 (12
N.m)
,
- rocker cover bolts 14, 15, 21 and 22 (14 N.m) .
III - FINAL OPERATION.
a
Refit the camshaft sensor fitted with a new seal.
a
Torque tighten the camshaft sensor bolt (10 N.m) .
a
Connect the camshaft sensor connector.
a
Refit the camshaft dephaser solenoid valve
equipped with a new seal.
a
Torque tighten the camshaft dephaser solenoid
valve sensor bolt (10 N.m) .
a
Connect the camshaft dephaser solenoid valve con-
nector.
a
Refit:
- every camshaft seal (see 11A , Top and front of
engine , Camshaft seal, timing end: Removal -
Refitting , page 11A-287 ) ,
- the camshaft dephaser (see 11A , Top and front of
engine , Camshaft dephaser: Removal - Refit-
ting , page 11A-275 ) ,
- the timing belt (see 11A , Top and front of engine ,
Timing belt: Removal - Refitting , page 11A-50 ) ,
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
19D , Engine mounting , Right-hand suspended
engine mounting: Removal - Refitting , page
19D-51 ) ,
- the accessories belt (see 11A , Top and front of

- the engine undertray,
