Hydraulic distributor: Removal - Refitting

Refit new joints to the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a
Turn the intercooler air inlet pipe clips until they are
refitted in their groove.

Clip the intercooler air inlet pipe onto the turbocharg-
er and the intercooler.

Refit the bolts on the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a
Tighten the bolts on the intercooler air inlet pipe.
a
Fit the cooling hose onto the intercooler air inlet
pipe.
a
Refit the nut for the cooling hose onto the intercooler
air inlet pipe.
a
Tighten the nut for the cooling hose on the intercool-
er air inlet pipe.
a
Refit:
- the front end panel (see Front end panel: Remov-
al - Refitting ) (42A, Upper front structure),
- the headlights (see Headlight: Removal - Refit-
ting ) (80B, Headlights),
- the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting ) (55A, Exterior protection),
- the front wheel arch liners (see Front wheel arch
liner: Removal - Refitting ) (55A, Exterior protec-
tion),
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting )
(35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting ) (80A, Battery),
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting )
(80A, Battery).

Fill and bleed the cooling system (see Cooling sys-
tem: Draining - Refilling ) (19A, Cooling).

Fill the automatic transmission (see 23A , Automatic
gearbox , Automatic gearbox oil: Draining - Fill-
ing , page 23A-29 ) .

Refit the engine undertray.
a
Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool ,
- select « Gearbox computer » ,
- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « Hydraulic distributor » in the section « List
of components controlled by this computer » ,
- carry out the operations described in the « After re-
pair procedure » section.

Note:
Check to ensure that the seals for the intercooler
air inlet pipe are fitted in their groove the right
way round.
Note:
The intercooler air inlet pipe is correctly clipped
onto the turbocharger and the intercooler when
the clips are engaged in the groove of the turbo-
charger and the intercooler.
