TANK
Fuel tank: Removal - Refitting

a
Refit:
- a new clip on the fuel tank side of the « filler neck -
fuel tank » connecting hose,
- the brake pipe mounting nut,
- the heat shield,
- the underbody protectors.

Clip the electronic parking brake control unit wiring
to the fuel tank.
a
Fit the electronic parking brake control unit mount-
ing.
a
Torque tighten the electronic parking brake con-
trol unit mounting bolts (21 N.m) .
a
Connect the electronic parking brake control unit
connector.
a
Refit the silencer (see 19B , Exhaust , Silencer: Re-
moval - Refitting , page 19B-64 ) .
a
Refit the expansion chamber (see 19B , Exhaust ,
Expansion chamber: Removal - Refitting , page
19B-47 ) .
a
Remove the blanking plug from the fuel pipe union.
a
Connect:
- the fuel vapour absorber pipe union,
- the fuel pipe union to the fuel level sensor module,
- the fuel level sensor module connector.
a
Close the access flap for the fuel level sensor mod-
ule.
a
Refit the rear bench seat.
a
Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting ) (80A, Battery).
a
Apply the after repair procedure using the diagnostic
tool:
a
Connect the diagnostic tool,
a
Select "Injection computer",
a
Go to repair mode,
a
Display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
computer selected,
a
Select "Alcohol level programming" in the "List of
components controlled by the computer" section and
perform the operations requested.
