Modifying SNMPv3 Settings
There are different commands to modify the SNMPv3 parameters of a
specific user profile. You can combine all of the following commands to
modify the SNMPv3 parameters at a time. See
Multi-Command Syntax
(on page 696).
Enable or disable the SNMP v3 access to PX3 for the specified
user:
config:#
user modify <name> snmpV3Access <option1>
Determine the security level:
config:#
user modify <name> securityLevel <option2>
Determine whether the authentication passphrase is identical to
the password:
config:#
user modify <name> userPasswordAsAuthenticationPassphrase <option3>
Determine the authentication passphrase:
config:#
user modify <name> authenticationPassPhrase
After performing the above command, PX3 prompts you to enter the
authentication passphrase.
Determine whether the privacy passphrase is identical to the
authentication passphrase:
config:#
user modify <name> useAuthenticationPassPhraseAsPrivacyPassPhrase <option4>
Determine the privacy passphrase:
