Performance characteristics test
8.1 Statement
Unless otherwise stated, tests of all specifications should be conducted under the temperature of 23°C ± 5°C
and half an hour after startup. Supplementary information of the instrument aims to help users to get better
understanding of its performance and is not related to any technical indicator. Key terms:
Specifications (spec): unless otherwise indicated, calibrated instrument should be left under the working
temperature range of 0 ~ 40°C for at least two hours and preheated for another 30 min to ensure its
performance (measurement error included). If not otherwise noted, data in this Manual all refers to technical
indicators.
Typical value (typ): indicates the typical performance 80% instruments can reach. This is not guaranteed data
and does not include uncertainties in measurement process. It is only effective under room temperature (about
25°C).
Nominal value: indicates expected average performance or designed performance characteristics, such as 50Ω
connector. It is not guaranteed data and is obtained under room temperature (about 25°C).
Measured value (meas): indicates the performance characteristics obtained in design stage and used to
compare with the expected performance, such as change of amplitude shift along with time. This is not
guaranteed data and is obtained under room temperature.

Security
Compliant with the safety certification requirements of Section 3.10 in GJB
3947A-2009:
a)
Resistance between the power input terminal and the enclosure of the
instrument (power switch is on) should be no less than 100 MΩ under
standard atmospheric pressure for test and no less than 2 MΩ in humid
environment.
b)
When a AC voltage of 1,500 V is applied between the power input
