[Noise Marker ON OFF]
●
Menu description:
when this menu is ON, it activates the noise maker. Read out the noise power that
normalizes the noise into 1Hz bandwidth near the active marker. At that time, the detector is under
Sample Detector mode. The Noise Marker averages the values of the 32 data points (including 16 at the
left side and 15 on and at the right of marker) near the frequency axis or time axis. In measuring the ratio
between the signal and noise, place the marker on the signal peak and select the Delta Marker mode.
Place the active marker to the noise to be measured with number keys or knob. Then select the [Noise
Marker Man]. At that time, the display value unit at the marker display area is dBc/Hz.
