7.4.2 Packing and Mailing
In case of problems hard to solve, contact us via telephone or fax. If it is confirmed that the analyzer needs to
be returned for repair, pack the analyzer with the original package and case according to the following steps:
1)
Place a detailed description of faults of the analyzer along with the instrument into the case.
2)
Pack it with the original package to reduce possible damage.
3)
Set pads in the four corners of the outer packing box, and place the instrument into the outer packing box.
4)
Seal the opening of the packing box with a tape and strengthen the packing box with nylon straps.
5)
Mark ―Fragile!‖ on the box. No touch! Handle with care! on the box body.
6)
Transport the network analyzer as a precision instrument.
7)
Keep the copies of all transport documents.
Caution
Notes of packing
Packaging materials other than the original ones may damage the analyzer. Do not pack the instrument with
the polystyrene sphere; otherwise, the instrument cannot be fully protected, and the generated static electricity
may be sucked into the fan to cause damage to the instrument.
