ip bgp confederation neighbor
Configures this peer as a member of the same confederation as the local BGP speaker.
ip bgp confederation neighbor ip_address
no ip bgp confederation neighbor ip_address
Syntax Definitions
ip_address 32-bit IP address of the peer.
Defaults
This command is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines
•
Use the no form of this command to disable this feature.
•
You must first assign a confederation number to the local BGP speaker before assigning peers to the
confederation. Use the
ip bgp confederation identifier command to assign a confederation number to
the local BGP speaker.
•
The BGP peer is restarted after issuing this command.
Examples
-> ip bgp confederation neighbor 172.22.2.115
-> no ip bgp confederation neighbor 172.22.2.115
