You must restart the peer (using the ip bgp neighbor clear command) after issuing this command
before the new hold time interval takes effect.
•
Both values must be set at the same time.
•
Entering this command without the variables resets the variables to their default value.
Examples
-> ip bgp neighbor 172.22.2.115 timers 80 240
-> ip bgp neighbor 172.22.2.115 timers
