Defining operator assisted calls
Here is an example of how Communication Manager routes an ARS call that begins with 0 and requires
operator assistance. The user dials 9 to access ARS, then a 0, then the rest of the number.
To see how Communication Manager handles a call to an operator:

Type display ars analysis 0 and press
ENTER

The AAR and ARS Digit Analysis Table screen starting with 0 appears.
The table in our example shows 6 translations for calls that begin with 0.
Unauthorized call
to intercept
treatment 9-1-212-976-1616 1-XXX-976 # (blank) "#" means end of
dialing. ARS ignores
digits dialed after 976.
User gets intercept
treatment.
International calls
