Ringback Queuing (Outgoing Trunk Queuing) — A trunk call placed using ARS/AAR Dialing
without FAC will be queued if the trunk group is busy, a queue has been assigned to the trunk
group, and the caller has an Automatic Callback (ACB) button.

Intra-switch inbound call interactions
Administrable Attendant Access Code — The attendant access code is fixed to be 1 or 2 digits long. A
specific ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC number (e.g., 949-1000) can be routed to the attendant group
using normal digit manipulation procedures (e.g., ARS/AAR Digit Conversion). However, on an internal
call from or to the attendant, the display shows the attendant access code, not the ARS/AAR Dialing
without FAC number.
Automatic Circuit Assurance (ACA) — The internal extension must be entered for the voice terminal
to be notified if ACA is triggered., even if users use ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC to reach extensions
that are on the same switch.
Automatic Callback (on Busy or Answer) — This feature works on calls placed using ARS/AAR
Dialing without FAC which terminate on the originating switch. It does not, however, work in
conjunction with the DCS Busy Verify feature.
Busy Verification of Terminals and Trunks — A user with a verify button must use ARS/AAR Dialing
without FAC when busy-verifying another voice terminal on the same system, if the system requires
users to use ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC for on-switch calls. It cannot, however, be used in
conjunction with DCS Busy Verify.
Call Park — Callers must use ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC dialing when unparking a call using the
Answer Back Feature Access Code, if ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC is used to reach extensions on the
same switch as the caller.
Coverage of Calls Redirected Off Net (CCRON) — The system administrator can use ARS/AAR
Dialing without FAC when entering an off-net destination into a coverage path. For networks in which
ARS/AAR Dialing without FAC is used to reach extensions that terminate on the originating switch, are
the administrator may find it easier to use the Remote Call Coverage form even for intra-switch coverage
points. On a large system, the potential problem with doing this is that the administrator may run up
against the maximum number of remote coverage points.
