location elin-location-id
Overview
Use this command to assign an ELIN location to the ports. The ELIN location must
already exist. This replaces any previous assignment of ELIN location for the ports.
Up to one location of each type can be assigned to a port.
Use the
no
variant of this command to remove a location identifier from the ports.

By default no ELIN location is assigned to ports.

Usage
An ELIN location associated with a port can be transmitted in Location
Identification TLVs via the port.
Before using this command, configure the location using the
command.
If an ELIN location is deleted using the
no
variant of one of the
command, it is automatically removed from all ports.
Examples
To assign ELIN location 1 to port 1.0.1, use the commands:
awplus#
configure terminal
awplus(config)#
interface port1.0.1
awplus(config-if)#
location elin-location-id 1
To remove an ELIN location from port 1.0.1, use the commands:
awplus#
configure terminal
awplus(config)#
interface port1.0.1
awplus(config-if)#
no location elin-location-id
