ip tcp synack-retries
Overview
Use this command to specify how many times the switch will retry sending a SYN
ACK for a TCP connection for which it has received a SYN but not an ACK. Such
connections are called half-open TCP connections. This command allows you to
influence how long half-open TCP connections take to time out.
Use the
no
variant of this command to return to the default setting of 5 retries.

Usage
The following table shows the approximate correlation between the number of
retries and the time half-open TCP connections take to time out.
Example
To retry twice, which leads to a timeout of approximately 7 seconds, use the
commands:
