Figure 49 shows the CEQuence Investigator screen layout. This consists of a title bar,
menu bar, several toolbars, the display window and the status bar. A description of
each screen element is described in Table 43.

Title Bar - The Title Bar shows the module name, the active document name and has the
standard minimize , maximize and close icons at the top-right of the window.

Menu Bar - The Menu Bar contains a list of drop-down menu items that display various
executable options.

Standard Toolbar - Each button on the toolbar, when activated, executes a pre-defined
function.

Dye Colors Toolbar - These user-selectable colors are used in the trace data view and the
bases in the text view when the text coloring is activated.

Display Window - This area is used to graphically display the specific window or windows
associated with the current task.
