No more than one 96-well plate should be processed without
replenishing the Wetting Tray. For information on Cleaning and
Filling the Wetting Tray, see page 356.

Gel Waste Bottle
The Gel Waste Bottle (Figure 8) is used to capture and store the waste gel that is
pushed out of the manifold during the purge function. The bottle can hold the
equivalent of 25 gel cartridges. Periodic observation of the gel level in the waste bottle
is recommended to prevent overflow.

Power Switch
This push-button switch, when in the
ON
position, provides power for the CEQ.
Gel Pump/Gel Cartridge Access Cover
Provides access to the Gel Pump and Gel Cartridge.
