You may select an existing Locus Tag from the drop down menu by clicking on it and
may also add any ancillary information to the selected locus tag at this time.
When you have finished editing, save the new data to the selected locus tag so that the
information updates the allele list with regards to Dye, Size and Repeat Unit Length.
Refer to the “Locus Tag Editor” section of this manual or the Online
Help for more information about locus tag parameters.
The system saves the following information:
•
Observed Size (bin mean)
• Bin Minimum & Maximum
• Standard Deviation
• # of Data Points
• Minimum Peak Height
• The X and Y coordinates of all the data points in the plot (stored as additional
information).
The allele list is automatically updated with the new information that is obtained
during the bin analysis.
Reviewing the Source Data
Once the Bin Analysis parameters have been applied to the data, the reference and
trace points selected and the locus tag and allele list updated, you may review the
source data for all included samples before completing the Bin Analysis.
