Re-Analyze Results
The Fragment Analysis module contains a Re-Analysis feature that allows you to
select one or more samples from the Result Set view to be re-analyzed. This provides a
useful method of applying a different set of fragment analysis parameters to a
previously analyzed set of data to pick up missed peaks or to avoid picking up
unwanted peaks. The data resulting from the re-analysis automatically replaces the
older Result Set data, allowing you to quickly continue with your Study.
To access this function, right-click on the highlighted sample(s) from the Result Set
view and select the
Re-analyze Results
command from the menu displayed. This
command is also available from the
Analysis
menu.
Re-analyzing Results
1. Select one or more results from the Result Set View.
2. Right-click on the highlighted result(s) and select the
Re-Analyze Results
command from the menu displayed.
3. A message box will be displayed indicating that procedure will replace the
selected results with re-analyzed results. Click
Yes
to proceed with the
re-analysis.
4. The Fragment Analysis Parameters window will be displayed, allowing you to
select a new or edited set of parameters to use for re-analyzing the data.
