CEQ™ 8000 Genetic Analysis System

Navigation and Editing

The Navigator toolbar allows you to search for locations of interest in the consensus
based on attributes. You may also search for specific base(s) and view their associated
quality values and difference code(s).

To use the Navigator toolbar, click

View | Toolbars

menu option, then check the

Navigator

option. The Navigator toolbar is displayed.

Trim operations must be completed before any other editing. After any other
editing, the trim feature will be disabled.

You may insert and delete spaces in the Reference Sequence, but no bases
may be changed.

Base editing can only occur when a single consensus base is highlighted.

All edit operations, including Restore to Original, are added to the history
log along with the date, time and position of the operation. These operations
will be retained in the history log.
