Scan Barcode
Use the Scan Barcode option to search for a sample plate using its barcode. From the
drop-down list, select the
Project Name
that contains the sample plate barcode.
Click
Scan Barcode
and type the sample plate barcode exactly as it was saved. If
the sample plate barcode exists, it will open the plate. You may also use the wild cards
"*" and "?" in your search. If more than one match is found, the Barcode Selection
dialog will be opened to allow selection of the proper plate.
To search all projects for the sample name, select "-(none)-" from the
Project Name drop-down before clicking Scan Barcode.
If the sample plate does not appear in the list of available items, it
may be residing in another project. To select the project where the
sample plate resides, click on the project down-arrow, then on the
desired project. The list box will be updated accordingly.
To change the working database, first close all CEQ System modules,
and access the Data Manager module. Set the desired working data-
base by clicking on the database you wish to set as the working data-
base, then clicking on Set as Working Database under the File menu.
You can also use the right click option to set the working database.
Left click on the desired database to highlight it, then right click.
Select Set as Working Database from the menu.
To filter the list, check the
Enable
check box and enter the beginning and ending
dates for the items you wish to view. Click on Refresh.
