Selecting Raw Data for the New Study
When you select the
Raw Data
option button and click
OK
, the
Study Wizard
will
be launched and the
Select Raw Data
window will be displayed.

This window is used to select the raw data to be analyzed from a database of samples
that have been “run” in a particular project(s). The raw data selected in this window
will be included in your Study and analyzed in the subsequent steps.
You may view an individual sample electropherogram and other
collected parameters prior to adding the sample to your Study by
right-clicking on a highlighted sample and selecting the Show Single
Sample View command from the menu displayed.
The
List View
and
Plate View
tabs provide you with two methods of making your
raw data selections. Each selection method contains the same sample information
presented in different ways. Which method you use is a matter of personal preference.
Selecting Raw Data from the List View tab
The List View tab allows you to make your selections from a list of samples contained
in a specific database and/or collected during a particular time frame.
1. Click the List View tab available in the Select Raw Data window.
2. Select the Project folder that contains the sample data that you wish to include in
the Study from the Project drop-down list box.
• Click on the down-arrow located on the right side of the Project list box
to reveal the available projects in the working database.
