Calculate Using
2. Within the
Calculate Using
area of the window, use the option buttons to select
the method which the software will use to calculate the quantity of your reference
peak.
•
Select either
Height
or
Area
.
•
By selecting the
Height
option, the software will calculate the quantity of
your reference peak based upon its peak height.
•
By selecting the
Area
option, the software will calculate the quantity of
your reference peak based upon its peak area.
Quantitation Values
3. Select the check box for each dye with which you are using a reference peak. For
each dye selected, you must input the appropriate values into the fields listed.
4. When you have selected
Size
in the
ID Standard
area of the window, the first
field next to the dye selection check box requires you to input the size of the
reference peak (nucleotides) for that dye.
5. When you have selected
Time
in the
ID Standard
area of the window, the first
field next to the dye selection check box requires you to input the migration time
of the reference peak (minutes) for that dye.
