Starting a New AFLP Analysis
When you have finished setting the analysis parameters, click OK to generate the
New AFLP Analysis

Viewing the Cluster Analysis
When the clustering operation is completed, a table will be displayed showing the
results of the AFLP analysis. The format of this table can be displayed as either rows
or columns of data for ease of export to a third party software platform for further
analysis (see sample axis below).
• The
Bin Column / Row
displays the bin number. Bins with A and B suffixes
will be assigned if two adjacent bins fall in the same integer after rounding of the
Bin X Mean.
• The
Dye Column / Row
displays the dye included.
• The
Samples Column / Row
displays the sample count within the bin.
• The
Fragments Column / Row
displays the fragment count within the bin.
• The
X-Min Column / Row
displays the minimum fragment size within the bin.
• The
X-Max Column / Row
displays the maximum fragment size within the bin.
• The
X-Mean Column / Row
displays the mean fragment size within the bin.
• The
X-Var Column / Row
displays the fragment size variation within the bin.
• The
Y-Mean Column / Row
displays the mean peak height within the bin.
• The
numbered columns / rows
to the right / bottom of the table show the
number of sample components (peaks/fragments) within each bin for each sample.
