SNP Locus Tag Editor
The
SNP Locus Tag Editor
allows you to create a new SNP Locus Tag or edit an
existing one to be used for SNP analysis. It can be accessed from the
SNP Locus
Tag
tab of the
Analysis Parameters
window (see previous section).

Input or edit the name of the locus tag in the
Locus Tag
field.
Select the
Project
to which the new or edited locus will be saved.
You may input the identification of the locus in the
Locus Description
field. This is
the locus tag name that will be displayed in the fragment list for all fragments that are
identified as belonging to this locus.
The
Apparent Fragment Size
must be a real number greater than 0 and less than
or equal to 150. This represents the estimated size in nucleotides that the user expects
for fragments belonging to this locus.
The
Ploidy
field is inactive for this release of the software.
The
Allele ID’s
are 8 character alphanumeric fields that are used to label the Allele
ID’s in the fragment list. The default values are A, T, G & C. These fields cannot be
blank.
The
Accession #
and
Primer Sequence
fields are not used for analysis and are
for supplementary reporting purposes only. These fields are optional.
