Details
When a bit in the Standard Event Status Enable Register is set and the corresponding bit in the
Standard Event Status Register is set on, the ESB bit of the Status Byte Register is set.
To set a bit, send the constant or the value of the bit as the
< n >
parameter. When
0
(zero) is
returned, no bits are set. You can also send
0
to clear all bits.
To query the Standard Event Status Enable Register (ESER), send
*ESE?
. The instrument returns a
decimal value that corresponds to the binary-weighted sum of all bits set in the register.
Example
*ESE 145
*ESE 145
sets the Status Enable Standard Event
Register to binary
10010001
, which enables the PON,
EXE, and OPC bits.
