To recall a user setup from internal memory using SCPI commands:
*RCL <n>
Where
<n>
is an integer between 1 and 5 that represents the saved setup.
To recall a user setup from external USB flash drive using SCPI commands:
:MMEMory:LOAD:SETup "mysetup"
Recall the setup named
mysetup
in the external USB flash drive to the instrument.
Specify a default setup
You can specify a default setup that is applied immediately after the instrument is powered on.
To save a default setup to internal nonvolatile memory from the front panel:
1. Press the
MENU
key.
2. Under System, select
Save/Recall
.
3. Select the button next to
Auto Load Setup1
and press the
ENTER
key.
4. Select
On
and press
ENTER
.
You must save your configuration under setup 1, or it will not be applied when the instrument power
is turned on.
You can also enable the default setup by sending the SCPI command:
:SYSTem:POSetup:STATe
Using the event log
The event log records errors that are reported by the instrument. The event log can hold up to 64
errors. When more than 64 errors are in the event log, the oldest error is removed when a new event
is received.
Information provided for each event log entry
Each event log entry includes the following information:
The time when the event occurred; this includes the date for the first entry after power up.
The code number of the event; this number can be used with the status model to map events to
bits in the event registers.
The description of the event.
