(2) Control data

Control data of the SREAD instruction are the same as those of the READ instruction.

Section 9.3 (2) Control data

(3) Function

(a) SREAD instruction overview

The SREAD instruction reads out word device data (in and after (S2)) of the target 
station to word devices of the own station (in and after (D1)).
The target station is specified in Target station network No. ((S1)+4) and Target 
station No. ((S1)+5) of control data.
Upon completion of reading the data specified in (S2), the following devices turn 
ON.

 • Own station: Completion device (D2)
 • Target station: Read notification device (D3)

(b) Target stations available for specification

1) Target network

In addition to CC-Link IE controller network, stations in the following networks 
can be also specified.

 • MELSECNET/H
 • MELSECNET/10
 • Ethernet

2) Target station's CPU type

The SREAD instruction is executable only when the target station has QCPU 
or QnACPU.
The SREAD instruction is not executable to the ACPU connected to 
MELSECNET/10 or Ethernet.
