2. Enter the desired channel on the dial pad. Confirmation tone sounds. Music is now issued
through the speaker.
3. Press the Volume Bar to change the volume. The following message displays:
SINGLE
LINE
TELEPHONE
The background music feature is not compatible with single line telephones.
Conditions
»
When you pick up the handset or press the ON/OFF button, music automatically
discontinues.
»
When the headset is enabled, BGM discontinues.
»
A music source must be connected to the BGM/MOH connector.
Battery Back-Up (Memory)
Description
A lithium battery is located on the Main Processing Board (MPB) to protect system memory in
case of commercial power outage or the system power being turned off for a time period.
Battery Back-up Memory retains all system features including system and station speed dial
during a power outage.
Baud Rate Assignments
Description
The optional MISB is for features such as SMDR or ICLID, that use RS-232 connectors.
