To clear an entry:
1. Select desired entry.
2. Press TRANS.
3. Press FLASH.
4. Press SPEED. Confirmation tone sounds and entry is erased.
The following procedure is used to associate names to the Local Number/Name Translation
Table number only.
1. Enter desired three-digit Directory List number (000-199), or dial [
✳
] to scroll up (next
entry) or [#] to scroll down (previous entry) through the list.
If just changing a name associated with an existing Table entry, skip to step 4.
2. Press TRANS.
3. Dial three-digit Local Number/Name Translation Table number (600-799) that represents
the desired telephone number.
4. Press MUTE.
5. Use keys on the dial pad to enter the name (up to 24 characters may be entered).
The display updates as the name is entered (refer to
Figure 3-1 on page 3-9
).
6. Press SPEED when finished. Confirmation tone sounds and the display shows the new or
changed name.
7. Press HOLD, then use [
✳
] or [#] to scroll to next entry.

Hang up to end programming.
The following procedure is used to associate names to a system speed dial bin only.
1. Enter desired 3-digit Directory List number (000-199), or dial [
✳
] to scroll up (next entry)
or [#] to scroll down (previous entry) through the list.
If just changing a name associated with an existing System Speed Dial Bin entry, skip to
step 4.
2. Press TRANS.
3. Dial system speed dial bin location (9020–9999).
4. Press MUTE.
5. Use keys on the dial pad to enter the name (up to 24 characters may be entered). The
display will update as the name is entered (refer to
Figure 3-1 on page 3-9
).
6. Press SPEED when finished. Confirmation tone sounds and the display updates.
7. Press HOLD, then use [
✳
] or [#] to scroll to next entry.

Hang up to end programming.
If an error is made during keystroke entry, press FLASH to clear the current name.
