The following commands initialize a measurement and setup the sweep.

ABORt
This command aborts the current measurement and resets the trigger system.
This command is an event and therefore has no query and no *RST value.
Example:
ABOR;
INIT:IMM
Aborts a measurement and starts a new one.
Usage:
Event
INITiate[:IMMediate]
This command initiates a new measurement sequence.
With sweep count > 0 or average count > 0, this means a restart of the indicated num-
ber of measurements. With trace functions MAXHold, MINHold and AVERage, the pre-
vious results are reset on restarting the measurement.
In single sweep mode, synchronization to the end of the indicated number of measure-
ments can be achieved with the command *OPC, *OPC? or *WAI. In continuous–
sweep mode, synchronization to the sweep end is not possible since the overall mea-
surement never ends.
This command is an event and therefore has no query and no *RST value.
