To ignore traffic to/from a specific host:

host not 192.168.1.2

To capture only traffic from a specific port:

port 1234

To combine these filters use:

host not 192.168.1.2 and port 1234

Mode:

Select whether you want to generate a capture file or view the live stream of the network traffic.

Socket

Test

The Socket Test menu item allows you to “Telnet” to desired destination IP and Port addresses to verify the socket
availability.

Host/IP Address field:

Enter the IP Address or URL you wish to connect to via Telnet.

Destination Port field:

Enter the Destination port of the server to which you would like to connect.

Click on the

Test

button at the bottom of the dialog window to proceed with the TCP socket test to verify socket

availability.

Traceroute

The Traceroute menu item allows you to watch the route taken through the Internet to the specified IP Address or
URL.
