Step 2: Installing UMR (settings)
You have selected the components.
1. Click

Select a language for the runtime components
dialog opens.
2. Select the default language for the UMR interfaces (Web Client and Textblock Administrator).

dialog opens. Enter the following settings.
4. If you don't follow the guided installation, click

TTrace Parameter
dialog opens. Enter the

OmniOrb Naming Service
dialog opens. Enter the following settings.

Service Account - Setting
Explanation
User name
Indicates the user name. You must enter a user. This user
is used to start the UMR services.
Password
Indicates the user's password.
Repetition
Enter the password again.
Service Account - Setting
Explanation
Host
Specify the host name or TCP/IP number of the PC running
TTrace.
Port
Indicates the port of the TTrace server. Use the default port
10300.
OmniORB Naming Service -
Setting
Explanation
Host
Specifies the host name of the host running the omniORB
naming service. Generally this is the CIE Server.
Port
Shows the port for the omniORB naming service. Use the
default 2809.
