Measures to prevent the PBX from connecting to the data network and vice
versa
The CIE server is connected to the PBX using one or more S0 interfaces. The connection from the CIE
server to the BCAG is established using a code with the BCA. This establishes the data connection
necessary for operating the CIE system.
If not all B-channels of the S0 interfaces are busy or are not busy all the time, the potential exists for them
to be misused.
To prevent misuse, take the following precautions.
