In the Analog Demodulation application, the next measurement can be triggered if the
selected input signal exceeds the threshold specified using the "Trigger Level" setting
(see
"Trigger Level" on page 98). Thus, a periodic signal modulated onto the carrier
frequency can be displayed. It is recommended that the measurement time covers at
least five periods of the audio signal.

and continues until stopped explicitely.

External Trigger 1/2/3 ← Trigger Source
Data acquisition starts when the TTL signal fed into the specified input connector (on
the front or rear panel) meets or exceeds the specified trigger level.
(See "Trigger Level" on page 98).
Note: The "External Trigger 1" softkey automatically selects the trigger signal from the
TRIGGER INPUT connector on the front panel.
