Parameters:
<TraceMode>
WRITe
Overwrite mode: the trace is overwritten by each sweep. This is
the default setting.
AVERage
The average is formed over several sweeps. The
determines the number of averaging procedures.
MAXHold
The maximum value is determined over several sweeps and dis-
played. The R&S
FSW saves the sweep result in the trace mem-
ory only if the new value is greater than the previous one.
MINHold
The minimum value is determined from several measurements
and displayed. The R&S
FSW saves the sweep result in the
trace memory only if the new value is lower than the previous
one.
VIEW
The current contents of the trace memory are frozen and dis-
played.
OFF
Hides the selected trace.

Example:
ADEM:AM AVER,MAXH,MINH,OFF,OFF,OFF
Determines average, max hold and min hold values simultane-
ously for the traces 1-3 of the RF time domain evaluation.
ADEM:AM WRIT,OFF,OFF,OFF,OFF,OFF
Determines only the current measurement values for trace 1.
ADEM:AM OFF,OFF,OFF,OFF,OFF,OFF
Switches AM demodulation off.
[SENSe:]AVERage:COUNt
<AverageCount>
This command defines the number of sweeps that the application uses to average
traces.
In case of continuous sweeps, the application calculates the moving average over the
average count.
In case of single sweep measurements, the application stops the measurement and
calculates the average after the average count has been reached.
Parameters:
<AverageCount>
If you set a average count of 0 or 1, the application performs one
single sweep in single sweep mode.
In continuous sweep mode, if the average count is set to 0, a
moving average over 10 sweeps is performed.
Range:
0 to 200000
