"Max Hold"
The maximum value is determined over several sweeps and dis-
played. The R&S
FSW saves each trace point in the trace memory
only if the new value is greater than the previous one.
"Min Hold"
The minimum value is determined from several measurements and
displayed. The R&S
FSW saves each trace point in the trace memory
only if the new value is lower than the previous one.
"Average"
The average is formed over several sweeps.
The
determines the number of averaging pro-
cedures.
"View"
The current contents of the trace memory are frozen and displayed.
"Blank"
Removes the selected trace from the display.
Remote command:
Detector
Defines the trace detector to be used for trace analysis.
"Auto"
Selects the optimum detector for the selected trace and filter mode.
This is the default setting.
"Type"
Defines the selected detector type.
Note:
If the EMI (R&S
FSW-K54) measurement option is installed
and the filter type "CISPR" is selected, additional detectors are availa-
ble, even if EMI measurement is not active.
Remote command:
Hold
If activated, traces in "Min Hold", "Max Hold" and "Average" mode are not reset after
specific parameter changes have been made.
Normally, the measurement is started anew after parameter changes, before the mea-
surement results are analyzed (e.g. using a marker). In all cases that require a new
measurement after parameter changes, the trace is reset automatically to avoid false
results (e.g. with span changes). For applications that require no reset after parameter
changes, the automatic reset can be switched off.
The default setting is off.
Remote command:
Average Mode
Defines the mode with which the trace is averaged over several sweeps. A different
averaging mode can be defined for each trace.
This setting is only applicable if trace mode "Average" is selected.
How many sweeps are averaged is defined by the
