Tower Fault 100: probe unable to reach home position

NOTE:
The home position for the probe is the uppermost position.
The sensor system indicates that the probe is not in the home position when the
system expects the probe to be homed.

1. A mechanical problem has
prevented the probe from reaching
the home position on the Aspiration
Tower.
1. Remove the Loader Cover. Check
for an obstruction on the Aspiration
tower that is preventing the probe
from reaching the home position
and, if one is found, remove it.
Then, reinstall the Loader Cover,
reset the racks, and reset the Sample
Loader by pressing the following
keys in order:
[CLEAR FAULT]
,
[START LOADER]
,
[RESET LOADER]
.
2. A failure of the sensor or related
electronics has occurred.
2. Reset the racks and reset the
Sample Loader.
3. The tower, tower motor, or related
electronics is defective.
3. If the message appears repeatedly,
contact your Abbott Hematology
Customer Support Center.
