Check external cables and ensure they are neatly arranged (i.e. not tangled, and are not
pinched by the any surrounding objects).

Gantry

Check all internal cables are neatly secured with tie wraps.

Vacuum the interior.

Wipe system covers with a damp cloth (alcohol or detergent water) and dry immediately with
a dry cloth.

8.2.21

Control Modules

Clean the module interior:

open up all control module boxes (CM-8X, CMR8X, PDMM8X) and vacuum the interior.

8.2.22

Acquisition Computer

CLEAN MOUSE

If an optical mouse, wipe optical mouse lens or blow
lens free of dust.

If a ball mouse, take the ball out of the mouse, and
clean with alcohol.

CHECK FAN OPERATION

Check that the fans in the rear of the computer are
operational (no grinding or excessive noise).
