32. Click the Full Res b utton. De-select the Mini-volume field. This allows you to name the resulting
reconstructed volume.
33. Press the Recon button. Name the file 1x1wire_cs_ss.vff (or 2x2wire_cs_ss.vff or
4x4wire_cs_ss.vff depending on which verification scans are being performed)
34. View the cropped area in MicroView upon
completion.
35. Zoom in on individual wires. All 4 wires should be as round as possible.
If all of the wires are not round, the Centre of Rotation needs to be adjusted as follows:
a. Exit MicroView .
b. Click the Advanced button in the Reconstruction Utility window.
c. Click the Reconstruction tab.
d. Change the Centre of Rotation field. Make only small, incremental changes to this number
(e.g. change 1150 to 1150.5) then click
OK .
e. Click the Recon button in the Reconstruction Utility window.
f. View the image in MicroView upon completion. If the image is improved, continue to
change the Centre of Rotation in the same direction (e.g. change 1150.5 to 1151). If the
image is worse, change the Centre of Rotation in the opposite direction (e.g. change
1150.5 to 1149.5).
g. Continue to adjust the Centre of Rotation until the wires are as round as possible (although
all 4 wires are unlikely to be equally round).
